    Farm product cold storage: It is a warehouse that scientifically uses cooling facilities to create suitable humidity and low temperature conditions, that is, cold storage for agricultural products.

    Warehouses used for processing and fresh-keeping storage of agricultural products can avoid the influence of natural climate, prolong the storage and fresh-keeping period of agricultural products, and adjust market supply in four seasons.

    The temperature requirements for the cold storage design of agricultural products are designed according to the preservation conditions of the stored items. The more suitable fresh-keeping temperature for the preservation and storage of many agricultural products is about 0 ℃.

    The lower temperature of fruit and vegetable preservation is generally –2℃, which is a high-temperature cold storage; while the fresh-keeping temperature of aquatic products and meat is below –18℃, it is a low-temperature cold storage.

    Cold storage of agricultural products In the cold storage of northern deciduous fruits such as apples, pears, grapes, kiwi, apricots, plums, cherries, persimmons, etc., it is ideal to design the cold storage temperature of agricultural products between -1 °C and 1 °C according to the actual fresh-keeping conditions.

    For example: the suitable temperature of winter jujube and garlic moss is -2℃~0℃; the suitable temperature of peach fruit is 0℃~4℃;

    When it is necessary for fruit farmers to build cold storage in the production area of agricultural products, it is more appropriate to build a single small cold storage of 10 tons to 20 tons.

    A single-scale cold storage has a small capacity, is more convenient to enter and exit the storage, and is also very controlled and managed. The storage capacity of a single variety can be achieved, it is not easy to waste space, the cooling is fast, the temperature is stable, the energy saving, and the degree of automation is high.

    If there are many varieties, multiple small cold storages for agricultural products can be built together to form a group of small cold storages to keep more products and varieties fresh.

    According to different fresh-keeping temperatures, a single agricultural product cold storage can achieve arbitrary control flexibility, operability, degree of automation, energy saving effect, and economic effect is better than that of medium and large cold storages. The total investment of small agricultural cold storage groups is similar to that of large and medium cold storages of the same scale .
